Story Context

Strength grows differently in the young. It appears first as curiosity, then as courage, and finally as character — shaped slowly by the people who guide them. In North Bay, a free Jujitsu class exists for children ready to learn the gentle discipline of balance, respect, and awareness.

The Council calls upon the Hero to walk beside a young one — to guide them, support them, and model the patience and humility that define the Gentle Warrior’s path. This quest strengthens two hearts at once: the child who learns, and the adult who leads.

Objectives

Step 1: Discover the Dojo for Young Heroes

Find where the free children’s Jujitsu class is offered in North Bay. Confirm the schedule, any requirements, and whether newcomers are welcomed. Contact the instructor if necessary.

Step 2: Bring Forth a Young Hero

Invite a child (12 or under) from your family or immediate community. Explain the opportunity gently and prepare to accompany them.

Step 3: Attend the Class Together

Support their learning by:

• Encouraging focus and calm
• Helping them follow instructions
• Modeling respect and awareness
• Participating or observing attentively

Your presence becomes their anchor as they step onto the mat.

Step 4: Reflect as Mentor and Student

After the class, discuss the experience together:

• What did they enjoy?
• What challenged them?
• What did they learn about balance or focus?
• How did the practice make them feel?

Share your own thoughts and insights as well.

Step 5: Record the Experience

Write a short reflection or take a photo (if appropriate) and send your report to:

Completion

By guiding a young one along the path, the Hero strengthens bonds between generations. The lessons learned by both mentor and student ripple outward, nurturing courage, awareness, and connection within the realm.
